Born in Rangoon, around the time of “U Thant” uprising by Rangoon University students
Participated in 1988 people power movements as a high school student activist.
Very briefly detained by Burmese troops for involvement in an anti military government demonstration, while as a high school student, in 1990 in Rangoon.
Help organized student protests in medical school against military regime in 1996.
Worked as a doctor for a few years in Rangoon. Became too frustrated with totally chaotic health-care system and inefficient health-policies of the military government.
Now in UK, Publishing and working as executive editor of Burma Digest.
Also working as general secretary of the exile/UK branch of Burma’s main pro-democracy party the National League for Democracy, also known as NLD-liberated area-UK.
Also write articles, relating to Burma’s democracy movement, in Asian Tribune and Malaysia Today. Given interviews on Burma’s human-rights struggle to BBC TVs & Radios, German TV1, VOA, Finish radios, etc., in English & Burmese languages, and also to newspapers in UK, India, Japan, etc.
Founding leader of web-based campaign group “Federalist Friends“.
Also co-operating with many other pro-democracy groups in Burma as well as around the world.
And currently attending a post-graduate Law course at a University in Lobdon.

I am a burmese refugee in germany and supporter of NLD.
I think that we have no NLD branch in germany.
that’s why that I have contacted you.
if we have any branch in germany please give me the address or phonenumber.
I wanted to establish a branch of NLD party
in Badenwuertemberg in germany and I have contacted 25 burmese people from Badenwuertemberg and Frankfurt who are willing to take part in NLD political activity.
we have had recently demonstrations in Frankfurt and Berlin and we will have in other cities too soon to protest against the recent acts of the military generals regime.
as I have told you we don’t know any branch of NLD in germany so if it is possible for you please help us to release our photos and videos of our activities on your website.
hope for the democracy and freedom of our beautiful land.
