On 27.05.2010 afternoon tea-time, Burma Liberation Front members at their office hold AmnesTea Party in honour of the Amnesty International’s birthday, which falls on 28.05.2010.

Amnesty International has been making efforts to raise awareness about prisoners of conscience in Burma, as well as about human rights abuses by the military regime in Burma. This month’s Amnesty magazine comes with the cover-photo of U Win Tin, a very well-known pro-democracy activist and journalist as well as the formerly longest-serving political prisoner in Burma.
