3rd Protest against Unfair Election laws in Burma

International pro-democracy & human rights activists in London, led by Burma Liberation Front, made the third of their four planned demonstrations in front of Burmese military regime embassy on 20.04.2010 against the unfair election laws recently passed by the military regime in Burma in preparation for their fake election in the later part of 2010.

  • Sandar Chit from BLF Secretariat and Krishna from BLF Action Committee carried out administrative duties to help organize this demonstration

  • Thi Thi San from BLF Coordination Committee acted as master of ceremony. (Click here to see video)

  • Opening speech was given by BLF’s General Secretary Ko Tayza (Tayza Thuria).

  • Special Guest Speaker Mark Sampson from TOTAL-Out-of-Burma campaign group gave a speech.

  • Shaun Brown, a special Friend for Burma Liberation, led chanting of anti-military-regime slogans in English language.

  • Sharing of Merits of Patthana recitation, led by Chandra Mani from BLF’s Action Committee, to innocent people in Burma who were killed by Myanmar New Year bombings which were widely believed to be orchestrated by regime’s military intelligence agents.
