Burma Liberation Front gladly endorses wholeheartedly the wise and courageous decision on 29.03.2010 by NLD party to boycott the coming fake elections in 2010 to be held under unfair conditions in accordance with the military regime’s sham 2008 constitution.

As has been stated in Burma Liberation Front’s foundation declaration on 01.01.2010, Burma Liberation Front neither recognizes military regime’s 2008 sham pro-military constitution nor its planned 2010 fake elections. If military regime shamelessly go ahead with their fake election which totally lacks any credibility, Burma Liberation Front will not recognize any puppet fake-civilian government to be installed by the military regime after their fake election.

Burma Liberation Front sincerely believes that every self-respecting and respectable pro-democracy party and every ethnic organization in Burma will all unanimously boycott military regime’s planned 2010 fake elections; or otherwise lose their credibility along with the globally condemned and internationally despised military regime and its fake 2010 elections.

Burma Liberation Front also strongly urges the freedom-loving international community to stand shoulder to shoulder with the democracy loving but long suffering people of Burma in their fight against the decades-long oppression by a brutal and corrupt military regime, and to denounce the regime’s fake elections in 2010, as well as not to recognize any puppet fake-civilian government to be installed by the military regime after their fake elections.

Burma Liberation Front, on this occasion, affirms again our vows to carry on the fight for democracy and human rights until all people of Burma get genuine democracy and perfect fulsome human rights.
