Pray for Peace in front of Burmese embassy

What? Why?
On the occasion of the 2nd year anniversary of the Saffron Revolution when the military junta was brutally crushed monks and civilians who made a peaceful protest, 15 Burmese monks as members of All Burma Monks Alliance (ABMA) together with Thai and Burmese activists, students, and workers will pray together in solidarity for peace and protest against Burmese military regime in front of the Burmese embassy.

How?
ABMA monks will pray for peace in Pali language, release a statement, and give a faithfulness announcement (Adadehtan) which contains how they really want to see peace in Burma and to see Burmese people live without suffering. Faithfulness announcement will be followed by the speech of approximately 50 more people including Thai public, Burmese joining the activity.

Date: Saturday 26 September 2009
Place: In front of Burmese Embassy on Sathorn Road, Bangkok, Thaland.
