The school was founded in Mae Sot, Thailand, in 2006, by Mon ethnic Diaspora from Burma. The aim was to help Mon Diaspora children get a good future, and to create good Mon generation waves.
The school teaches children Mon language and culture, in  addition to the usual academic subjects.
