This insightful analysis presents the panorama of Burma developments very well.

Many invested their lives in the hope of democracy. The disciplined democracy proposed the generals is part of their continual plan to illegally subvert the 1990 Pyithu Hluttaw, and any similar recurrent expression of the will of the peoples. The SPDC wages a perpetual campaign to wipe the last vestiges of any genuine democracy from the villages ever. The Insein, Hlaing Tharyar and Kamaryut courts are real examples of a poor government suffering from extensive mismanagement.

The economic-political situation, indeed, appears to be hopeless. Electricity, rice and gasoline shortages loudly proclaim need. Relative non-action (and humanitarian foot dragging) in the face of natural disasters, and the recent aggressive actions taken against the non-Buddhist populations present a regime that is desperate for control.

One cannot help but notice the persistent antipathy toward the Tat Ma Daw of newer generations coming of age in Burma. These youth who are inspired to take issue in the face of dictatorial rigidity are true hope for Burma.

One also cannot help but notice that the oppressed peoples of Burma find hope for freedom in non-western ways.
