It is just another confused exile. This piece shows how confused this person was rather than a clear presentation of problems and solution. I was surprised to find out he is the “Minister of Information.” No wander why the NCGUB remains only the title with a tiny ‘office’ in a suburb in Maryland.

Dear U Tint Swe,
My question for you is:
1. Do you still holding the policy of “elected representative only” in your organization or you want to change the policy of “all inclusive actors”?
2. Why the MPU conference has been delayed for months after months?

As far as I am concerned and in all legality and decency, the NCGUB must be COMPRISED of ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES only. Those who are given MANDATE by the people of Burma ONLY are ENTITLED to serve in the governing body in line with ‘democracy’ as we are trying all these decades to restore in our country.
The elected members are also representatives of the NLD the people’s party and others legally established and elected in the first place, which even Than Shwe cannot ‘displace’ with any other as long as the people are still backing it and the representatives are still alive, doing or awaiting to do their job.
Any attempt to REPLACE the elected representatives with any Tom, Dick or Henry would be akin to committing TREASON on the part of the individual (s) or organization (s), like Than Shwe and his thugs are doing now.
He is trying to replace the elected representatives of the 1990 elections with his own via his 2010 elections. This is tantamount to TREASON on the part of the top dog in the military hierarchy of Burma also, as NO INDIVIDUAL or ORGANIZATION much less Than Shwe or his military oligarchy, including some in the opposition alliance members based outside of Burma (who are CONTEMPLATING or EMBARKING on a course of action to displace the elected members of the NCGUB and take their place in the governing body) has the AUTHORITY or LEGALITY to do so, OTHER THAN THE PEOPLE OF BURMA.
Power hungry ‘huns’ among the opposition alliances both inside and outside of Burma should take NOTE of this FACT, before they go any further with their HEINOUS aims, and FACE the WRATH of all, specifically the people of Burma.
This I say with all SINCERITY and DECENCY, lest they forget!

George Than I will like to suggest, you need to consider your statment again if you are genuine Anit-Dictatorship. It easy to betray a child but now it is not a time to reapeating old practice in this mordern age. We need to see reality and collectively on the wholoe Burma issue. It is still revolution time not yet elected matter.
Also let answer Thun Aung Kyaw question by U Tint Shwe.

Re: U Htung Aung Gyaw’s question.
Dear UHAG and friends
1. MPU Congress held in February 2008 adopted the principle of inclusive structure of the government. A committee was set up for exploration. At present, MPU and NCGUB are supporting and coordinating the initiative for establishment of a wider and stronger coalition.
2. When I visited Ottawa in December 2006, I requested the Canadian government to host the upcoming MPU Congress in 2008. I also talked to local support groups such as Rights and Democracy and CFOB. Then our office in Washington, DC did follow-ups. Due to change of government there and insufficient fund from Canada we had to find the alternative. We talked to Europeans. There is a call for bringing different ideas together for the sake of integration among the movement. We agreed. But our proposal had to compromise. Our target dates in September and October became impossible because of the budget year difference. Then we had to trim down the budget. Finally a government approved. On 16-11-08 at the joint meeting the MPU Standing Committee accepted our explanation and we all decided to go ahead with the rescheduled date.
Sincerely
Tint Swe

Dear George
Thanks!
That justification is what we have been adhering to since the conception. Our legitimacy did not come with constitution. So we sought mandate from elected representatives and backing from other non-NLD parties. Then we were endorsed by serious groups in the liberated area.
Personally I don’t know the official or standard compulsions why we need to change it. There are talks of inefficiency, undemocratic, one-man show, inclusiveness, etc. However I don’t think even a comprehensive parker proposal submitted to NCGUB and we think about it is not the correct way-out. Although it is not impossible it can be better called a grand coalition.
Sincerely
Tint Swe

Re: (U/Ko) Zaw Tin
I don’t get sense of what that means. My presentation is just for public consumption. Among all of us we honestly and candidly presented, discussed and decided. I never claim that we are more than other people assume. However I sincerely welcome anybody who spends time to comment about us. Thank you!
