Pens and Guns

Dropped the books and left the class

Marching across the mud and blood

Jogging around and ducking down

Fighting along but not we bow.

.

Dropped the pens and go for guns

Blood for blood and guns for guns

Trekking across the mountain tops

Rights and Freedom that we fought.

So many heroes though we got

Too many heroes have we lost

Will never stop for what we fought

‘Surrender’ is the word for junta’s Dogs.

Dropped the books and left the class

Dropped the pens and go for guns

Freedom! Freedom! in our hands

Shall we cultivate in our land.

(Salute to ABSDF comrades on their historic 20th Anniversary)

Thanks Dhaka and Taisamyone. No objection from me as long as Burma Digest is happy.
