My colleaques from Myanmar presented the Nargis at the university hall. Participants includes students from nepal, Bangladesh, India, Philipines, Sri-Lanka, Australia and cambodia. They also invited profferssors and tutors who hails from Serbia, US etc. teaching here ( Cambodia). The Presentation clearly shows the hypocratic behavior of the Authorities in delivering the aid. Surprise to see that the government relief workers waiting photographer to click them before they were disperse to the affected places. The relief camps set up by the regime is also neat and clean. The photo shows a victims dress in style, good clothes shaking hands with the millitary personel. In reality, it was said that no affected victims wish to stayed in the govt. run camps. people stayed either in temples, churches or at relatives. The person was just called and he acted as if he is in the rehabilitation camps said to just show the outside world that they had done enough. people are questioning in the light of the human catastrophe why was the millitary regime proceed referendum? One of the volunteers who goes to the region said, after weeks of the Nargis, decomposed human bodies still lies in the open, people drink the same water wher they pass stool. he ask the millitary personel why the decompose bodies were not taken out till today. The personnel said that, why should we bother them when they are already dead. Don't worry, within few days fishes will eat them up.
