This is very strong and wright message for the opposition organizations, both inside and outside of Burma. We have time only a little more then one year to create the decisive situation and political and organizational preparation in our homeland systemactically, and it is supposed to lead by a group, an organization, or the alliance forces which can found the parallel government (only inside Burma) during the dicisive battle. The leading group should have a complete grand strategy that how they going to lead the country, the movemet, and the people in which it will guide and suggest the details for all the individuals and the organizations of inside and outside Burma. I would suggest this commentary to reveal from one of the radios like DVB, VOA, or RFA. I also truely expect all the participants for our struggle of freedom in Burma to consider with optimism, when ones share the ideas and visions for the movement like this article “What to do now”.

Details of the killing during 7th July need to be revived. An unknown number of students died in vain. Students of that time need to come out and write the unwritten story of the massacres. Not only of that. The massacre at U Thant’s funeral, the massacre at the workers’ riot during the seventies and other attrocities need to be researched and let be known.
Other nationalities have suffered more than enough during the half a century of dictatorial illegitimate Army regimes. It is time the ethnic Burmans know how bad the scion of the BDA and BIA have been doing.

Dear Burma Digest and Khin Ma Ma Myo
Thanks for the “What to Do Now” article. I agree with KO Shwe Sin Htun that Daw Khin Ma Ma Myos question” What to do now”— ya khu bar loke kya’ mhar lear” be aired on DVB, RFA, etc. I would like to have access to a English translation too. My two pyas worth. It seems that every group and specific individuals within political groups since 1959 have claimed their absolute rights to own Burma. Our (Burma’s) geography and history has shaped our individual and groups “identity”. We the Burmese progressive political forces, without examining our “strenghts and weakness” under given contexts and constraints through a “National United Front” political strategy by default are allowing the SPDC military regime to be the final decision making authority in Burma ” who gets, what, when and why” now and in the coming years.
Keep up the good work
