Since early morning of 26.04.2008, thousands of expatriate Burmese in Singapore have been waiting in front of Burmese embassy in Singapore, holding their red Burmese passports, to get a chance to cast their vote (overwhelmingly NO according to exit polls) on Burmese military junta’s pro-military constitution for Burma.
But for some very vague reasons the embassy turned away a huge number of eager Burmese expatriate voters.
Many a turned away voters are asking why they are not allowed to vote despite being Burmese citizens of majority age holding valid Burmese passports and paying tax regularly to Burmese embassy.
