I agree the work done by the Shan Women's Action Network is inspirational. As a Burmese-born Australian woman, who belongs to a similarly named organisation (Southern Women's Action Network-also known as SWAN), which aims at supporting women's initiatives, I am sure that the Australian SWAN would want to support SWAN in Thailand.
We have previously had speakers from a Karen organisation based in Melbourne and provided them with financial support, as well as a speaker from the UN, who to whom we donated funds for safe birthing kits for women on the Burma-Thai border.
I would love it if we could make a connection between our groups with the aim of assisting all aspects of work carried out by SWAN in Thailand.
