I Have friends in yangone and mandalay. They said they will not participate in the referandum to oppose it. I contact them and discussed about the possibilities of participation in the referandum. They will definitely Vote no and they are organising people. Time is up for the Junta to give up rule. They may be caught in their own net.

-Than Setkyar Heine- like your option best, but for another reason, they will publish any result what they like anyway.
For that reason bothering to vote makes no sense, and bothering to even just talk about some paper sheets written by criminals neither.

If people are force to vote "NO' vote is best. It does not matter whether the Junta steels the vote or not, cheats or not. We are faced with Yes and No only. If Yes Junta will win victory. If donot go the pool station, their stooges will put ghost votes and win again. The basis for contry's real stability and peace will not be resolved. The calling by Junta for referendum ( without participation of people's representatives) is really a sham and meaningless from the start.

I say, just take a vacation or holiday and stay away from home on that voting day. Or just stay indoors while shutting the doors of the house. If there is no body to cast vote the world will know that the people have TURNED THEIR BACKS on the military regime's referendum, and military dominated constitution also, and in turn will lead to NO ELECTIONS in 2010.
If the people turned out and cast their votes, even in the NO boxes, the military people would count them as YES votes and nobody could say otherwise, because the military would point out at the TURN OUT of people and say the people had given their votes and endorsed their referendum.
If the people stay away from voting and in UNISON and CONSENSUS. the military cannot claim that the people have voted and endorsed their self-serving constitution, the main pillar for eternal military rule in Burma.
JUST STAY AWAY FROM HOME or REMAIN INDOORS ONLY ON THAT DAY.
If the referendum fails, the military regime's dream of legalizing its otherwise illegal rule would be shattered. And we will have all the time and opportunity to bring down military rule in Burma, that is, if we are still DETERMINED, UNITED, RESOLVED etc. like today and before since 1988.

This article is another blind rejection of the constitution from the opposition. A lot of opposition made their opinion without even reading the constitution. This constitution is not a perfect one as much as we all want to be. If I have a choice to make it better, I would vote NO. But if that is the only option rather than the military rule, I would vote yes simply because we can't afford to live under the military. The status quo must change.
Anyway, Burmese people will reject the constitution because they dislike the regime. I am sure people are not thinking about the content of the constitution or consequent of rejecting no. People just simply think the junta is bad-- if it is white, people will embrace black. So, we will have next 10 years of the military rule-- claiming to rewrite the constitution. It is so sad for Burmese.

What will you do if you don't vote NO?
Vote No is the only option left for the people inside Burma and beating the Junta in its own game.

Ok, now we all vote 'NO.' And the junta says it will revive the constitution to meet 'people's desire.' The junta restarts the national convention. The military holds onto power for next 10 more years. Can you tell me what you would do?

you tell us we will win if we vote 'no.' you still did not explain us how we will win. Winning is not an automatic process. It must have a logic and sequence. Can you explain us that logic or a simple walk through of process of winning by saying no?

We will win but we have to think very carefully about Illegal Chinese population in Burma.
Thailand announced to the world that they have more than 100,000 Illegal Korean Chinese in Thailand and some are airlifted to South korea.
Millions of Illegal Chinese(Korean Chinese are included)in Burma.Junta is issuing Temporary ID Cards and buying votes at the moment. This is very serious to Referendum, our country and our futurs.

I prefer Vote "NO" than No Vote.
But so far, there still sound 2 voices. Vote "No" and "No Vote". It's not good for us.
I think U Than Shwe will be laughing at hearing different voices. But he also not feel well, sometime his memory is lost as old man and his time is running out (according to other news).
