Interesting but do not seem to be practical. You need to know about the military in Burma today. It's not the one that was borned out of the people. It's more like a HIV virus, instead of being an 'immune system' which protects from outside invaders the military today prey upon its own people while letting the outsiders, especially the Chinese of all shape and colour, to prey on our people as well.
When those who served in an armed organisation neither has honour or patriotism hoping them to stage a coup against their leaders who have made them to believe that it's them and not the people they have to be protecting.
Where else can you find the military that would not have any constraints either to shoot the school children in uniforms (because they were told that those children are communists) and the monks (also because they were told that these are 'bogus monks').
Where will you find such blood thirsty soldiers except those child soldiers in Sierra Leone? Ohn Kyaw Myint was an idealist and he meant well when he did what he did but there are rats like Commander Than Tin who exploited the situation to further his career and at the same time managed to eliminate U Tin Oo off his post. Would any one dare to even think about a coup for fear of believing there might be 'thought police'?
I admire your good intentions but you need to study the psychology of the military personnel first. The Philippines have both Enrile and Ramos we have neither.
