Your article reflected my views published on many occasions and under guises.
Than Shwe has ‘nothing for the people of Burma’ other than to hold them hostage in his military kingdom today’s Burma, as long as you, me and others like the UN, US, EU etc. are giving ‘lip service only’ and writing articles.
Why don’t we give our craniums a bit of a shaking and come up with some tangible and concrete strategies or tactics to take care of Than Shwe and his hoods?
As I have oft and repeatedly stated only “BRUTE FORCE” is the only language that top dog in the military hierarchy of Burma knows and respects.
As long as we are sticking to non-violence and praying for the UN, US, EU or others to come to our aid, like a baby waiting for his/her milk, Than Shwe and his thugs would be laughing and enjoying their lives like today.
They wouldn’t even bat an eye or blink for that matter either, knowing very well and perfectly that nobody in his right senses or frame of mind would ‘butt’ in Burma’s affairs if the people in Burma, including us having a good life in alien lands, are sitting on our asses and waiting for others to save us.
As Buddha has oft preached “EVERYBODY FOR HIMSELF/HERSELF” should be our motto and CLARION CALL today, if we want liberty, justice, equality, democracy etc. from now on.
