  That’s Ya Da Yar.
  I’ve heard from my Burmese friends that many Burmese stop practice in Buddhism because of Buddha with Butcher’s face.

  This cartoon is so gorily-good it should be reproduced on large posters during demonstrations, or put on Tshirts. Congratulations on a great job !
  I got an idea for you.
  How about a sitting Buddha picture, but with the face of Than Shwe, and furthermore, draw the thinggan robes colored with army green color, not the saffron color.
  Phra Than Shwe seems to be preaching the traditional –
  Buddhan tharanan gissami
  Damman tharanan gissami…..
  However, in the cartoon, he is instead preaching,
  TAYOKE tharanan gissami
  KALAH tharanan gissami // or combined //
  Tayoke-kalah tharanan gissami
  ASEAN tharanan gissami
  RUSSIAN tharanan gissami
  with an English explanation that it means he is seeking refuge in the above national powers.
  In his hands is a rosary made of (you decide) human parts, or bullets, or mini-grenades, and he has assorted swords, spears, all dripping with blood.
  There is no need for Buddhists to quit their religion.
  In your cartoon you emphasize that Than Shwe is practicing BUTCHERISM, not Buddhism. It will help Buddhists regain faith.
