Burma’s detained Suu Kyi taken to state guesthouse
Nov 19th, 2007
RANGOON (Reuters) – Myanmar’s detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi was taken on Monday from her villa to a state guesthouse where she is believed to have met the ruling junta’s liaison minister, opposition sources and witnesses said. Witnesses said a government car with tinted windows left Suu Kyi’s tightly guarded lakeside villa in the main city of Yangon and returned about one hour later.

Dear Folks,
The bird is being taken out again without notice and whisked away to a location, unknown, some say a government guest house. And now back again where she belongs since the last time more than four years ago until today.
What the hell are they doing man?
Why all these hush hush (secrecy) also?
What Daw Aung San Suu Kyi says is our business also. Right?
And what the other guy says should be made known too, because what they are saying and doing is all about us; not the case of Daw Suu’s sons marrying Than Shwe’s daughters, for that matter.
If I were in Daw Suu’s place I wouldn’t let my sons even look at Than Shwe’s daughters as they looked like MEDUSA (Ogress with snake hairs) and were all ‘DIRTY’ like their parents!
Let’s get back to business.
The fact that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi specifically, is still held in detention self-testified to the fact that there is no transparency, required in matters of this kind, and commitment – using a lowly Aung Kyi in place of Thein Sein at least as liaison officer – on the part of Than Shwe to resolve the prevailing problems in Burma as wrought upon by his incompetent and nit-witted regime.
This is no more than a sham show, just to deflect the international attention from Saffron Revolution, ringing Than Shwe’s death knell to his sham show where he has commandeered the services of the UN officials to act in his play, dubbed – A PLOY FOR ETERNAL RULE OF BURMA.
If Than Shwe really means business he just needs to let go Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all political prisoners in the first place, and then set up an interim ruling body comprising of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and some people of her choice, and in case, needed some representatives from the armed forces as well, an unprecedented concession on the part of the people also, just to make Than Shwe happy for the moment.
Then this ruling body should administer the country while the elected representatives of the 1990 elections get down to their business of drawing a constitution as needed in the country.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi knows the rest what to do next.
As for Than Shwe and Maung Aye amongst others they are going to HELL whether they like it or not. They have no place in Burma or elsewhere in this world for that matter for beating, torturing, disrobing and killing the Budhhist monks, not to mention, hunting and hounding of the monks and raiding their monasteries at night and hauling them away for further harsh and cruel treatments, and of course, the people and the students also.
Believe me, nothing will come out of this present farce, orchestrated by Than Shwe today, other than a break down in the ongoing secret meetings of Burma’s freedom fighter and the ruling military when he calls it off at his leisure and time also.
The least we can expect are some ‘protracted’ secret goings on, in the vien of Than Shwe’s National Convention, that took nearly 15 years to conclude, before the military mongrel scuttle the meetings for good, while putting the blame on Daw Aung San Suu Kyi like he is doing always.
Like all are saying the top military dog in Burma is BUYING his much needed TIME only, while he is cooking something sinister for the people of Burma.
We will have to pat the military mongrel’s head for coming up with something like, getting Gambari and Pinheiro onto the chaotic scene of Burma while the monks are leading the people to get Than Shwe’s yoke off their necks, and just when they are so close to kicking Than Shwe’s black butt.
I think someone from the Western world told him the trick.
“The Pied Piper of Hamlin led the rats to their doom in the river playing his pipe”.
Today, the Buddhist monks and the people are under the spell of two pied pipers – Gambari and Pinheiro – playing their tunes on Than Shwe’s stage, hypnotizing the Buddhist monks and the people, while at the same time he gets Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and his lackey starting a meaningless dialogue, most likely threatening Burma’s democracy leader to accept the Seven Step Road Map and forget about the will of the people – 1990 election results – for a change.
Well, guys, who says Than Shwe may be dumb, but not stupid?
The guy’s getting smart day by day guys!
Look at Burma today.
No more politcal activities or calls for freedom and democracy, right?
This round goes to Than Shwe no doubt. In fact, we can say the Buddhist monks and the people are DOWN already for the count, if you look at it closely. If they don’t get up and kick Than Shwe’s butt soon, then they will be COUNTED OUT by the UN and declared Than Shwe the WINNER. That’s what Than Shwe has FIXED today. while using the UN.
The UN is counting and the time’s nearly up boys, I am telling you!
Let me throw in something for you if you don’t mind, OK?
Why don’t we keep up the tempo – calls for representative rule in Burma via the 1990 election results – together with the Buddhist monks in Burma and all overseas?
And also, push on the UN to shout LOUD and CLEAR that 1990 ELECTION RESULTS are the only viable and relevant instruments in affecting REPRESENTATIVE RULE in Burma.
And most importantly, we call on the UN to publicize that Than Shwe’s toy – The Seven Step Road Map – is UNACCEPTABLE as it would lead Burma to eternal rule of the military only.

We are goners when the UN counts us out and give Than Shwe,
THE SEVEN STEP ROAD MAP shield as his prize.
Than Shwe’s got the referee -UN- in his belt, don’t you see?
Look, did you guys ever hear the UN say anything about the 1990 elections all these years? Maybe I am dead deaf. I haven’t heard that until today.
All I am hearing today is Burma is its way to democracy via the Seven Step Road Map. Am I wrong boys? I’ll bet I am not!
