I would like to know the real situation of cross -border trafficking of women and children in the NE India. Reports say there are few reported cases. But the ground reality is snake in the bush. What are the preventive measures for the at-risk communities of this Region? Of the NE States, Assam has severely affected. What about the other states? Are they safe? Please pay due attention to these multi-problamatic, poverty-striken, armed conflicted, and many more...helpless people. They have no trafficking-proof jackets.
