Any senior junta member and any member/soldier who participates in the recent and previous shootings should be tried in any relevent local and international criminal court, including ICC. The rule of law has been out of touch with Burma for a long time. The application of rule of laws in Burma is very arbitrary under junta rule. The junta is facing serious and enormous pressure at this point. There is no way out for them. Pressure is coming from every direction - internal as well as external. The collapse of junta regime is also very likely. The rift in its own members of junta is also very possible. As they have that illusion of the idea that the gun can give them all power needed to stay in power, it is proving wrong to the junta. Nothing is permanent in life, as Buddha has said. I am not sure they are real Buddhists. At least, the end of life is quite near for Than Shwe. So as for the rest in the line up. If 'gun' is only the language the generals understand, I am sure they will use that to solve both their and other problems. No concession to junta for their atrocities. The tide is going against them at this juncture. And we should make that tide stronger each day!! Nuremberg is waiting for all members of SPDC!!
