There have been rumours swirling around in Burma that soldiers in Rangoon have been cremating not only the dead bodies of Monks and activists, shot or beaten to death, but also some others who are just dying from their wounds but not yet dead.

Some reports even said that seriously injured detainees were crushed to death under a 10-wheel truck, instead of giving them required intensinve medical care.

But some others claimed that the rumours are deliberately spread by junta to confuse international community and also to discredit burmese bloggers abroad.

A Burmese language newspaper published by Burmese exile pro-democracy activists in Japan reported about the most gruesome murders military regime has been committing on detained activists in Burma; it was said that detainded activists were literally crushed to death under a 10-wheel truck.
