Your Days are Numbered Generals (2)
Oct 3rd, 2007
Once I have written an article titled as” Your Days Are Numbered Generals” in Burma Digest about a year and half ago. Reminding Ruling Generals and all ranked officers in our (used to be ) beloved Arm Forces (TATMADAW) to realise and to open their eyes and vision also tried to get back to the right track from their wrong doing path.
Now I am writing this article again with very heavy heart filled with anger and sadness. You guys (Tamadaw) has shamed our Nation, you have shamed all braved Burmese soldiers who sacrificed their precious lives by defending our beloved country, you have shamed and defamed our beloved Nation’s father General Aung San who founded and lead ONCE PATRIOTIC TATMADAW.
You have bitten the feeding hand and committed the utmost sin,you have crossed the line way overly. The hatred has been borned and growing rapidly in the hearts of Burmese people towards soldiers and their thugs. Tatmadaw betrayed the ordinary people of Burma and opened the can of worms in-front of the whole entire civilised world. The lawlessness and extreme cruelty were documented and displayed over the Internet and through out international news media broadcasting. By watching the Burmese Regime and it’s members brutally beating, clubbing and shooting the innocent Buddhist monks and unarmed civilians who were peacefully demonstrating their human rights, praying and chanting parittas for love and peace, the entire civilised world was badly shaken , saddened and angered for the unthinkable cruelties practised by the Burmese Military Regime.
Let me remind again Brainless, Heartless Generals and followers, your main duty is TO DEFEND THE NATION, TO DEFEND AND PROTECT THE PEOPLE’S LIVES AND WELL BEING AND THEIR WEALTH.But sadly what you are doing instead is KILLING YOUR OWN PEOPLE, DISRESPECT AND DESTROYED YOUR OWN RELIGION TO REMAIN IN POWER, THAT YOU SHAMELESSLY ROBBED FROM THE PEOPLE’S HEART, selling off the nation’s wealth such as oil and gas, timbers, all kind of natural resources at the lowest bargain price to fill in your own coffers unethically and somehow wasted the country’s revenue by expanding DOG’S Army unnecessarily. Then you turned your gun barrels to monks and people who feed you to live your dear lives.
Since Than Shwe came into power, he disintegrated the national unity. Discriminated and suppressed the other religions such as Muslims and Christians. Tatmadaw cleansed off it’s members who were Christian and Muslim religions. In civil sectors other religions are unlawfully discriminated by sacking them from their jobs and positions. For example Karen Women nurses were sacked from their hospitals and clinics through out the nation for their Christianity, Muslim officers and staffs are replaced by their jobs for being a Muslim. There is NO RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IN THIS REIGN OF TERROR. In Chin and Kaya states churches are demolished and Christians were stopped to perform prayer and attending their churches. People who has Bibles ans Qurans are detained and jailed. Through out the country mosques and muslim religious schools are destroyed. Our beloved country was disintegrated, our brothers and sisters were chased by Than Shwe’s brutal regime and fled into neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Malaysia. Ethnic Burmese refugees are trying to survive in those countries as LOWEST CLASS CITIZENS. Their lives and living is so harsh and they were not even recognised and treated as Burmese Citizens by the respective Burmese Embassies in those countries. When they were caught and facing deportation for illegal entry and other petty crimes and law related problems occured, Burmese Embassies simply muted down and shrugged off the respective country’s immigration and law enforcement body’s request and proposal to help sorting out the Burmese refugee’s affair. Their lame excuse is as dumb founded as these people do not have proper documents such as valid passport and travel documents. The confused and frustrated immigration and law enforcement personnel’s even questioned the Burmese embassy staffs like “Are not they your own Burmese Nationals?”and “What is the purpose of your embassy being opened here?”
During these days of terror scores of Burmese fled their beloved country for the fear of persecution, discrimination, displacement, hunger and so on. Due to the mismanagement once the country of wealth was drastically turned in to the status of IMPOVERISHED COUNTRY. The government could not properly handle the down falling economic situation and people have to look for the survival.Younger Burmese generation left home and started looking for the job in neighbouring countries. They were lowly paid and abused by the foreign employers. Their rights are not defended or protected by the Burmese embassy. Military rulers unethically applied hefty amount of taxes on Burmese nationals who are working menial jobs at lowest wages. The regime shamed our nationals as slaved labourers at international image. Once we Burmese Nationals took pride as the Nation which can proudly produce the third Secretay General of the United Nations (U Thant), who was the First Asian to take up at this Highly Decorated Position on the world stage. The then the first prime minister of Malaysia Tunku Abduhl Raman honoured U Thant by naming one of the street in the city of Kuaka Lumpur as JALAN U THANT for helping upon building of his nation. Today if you visit the Kuala Lumpur you will bumped in many young Burmese nationals working as waiters and waitresses at many restaurants in KUL. The military dictatorship has down graded the status of Burmese Nationals from the Secretary General of the United Nations to slaved labourers. Military Government has shamed our Burmese Nationals among other nations.
So when we look for the cause it is very obvious and standing out criminal organization that is FEARSOME BURMA ARMY. Than Shwe forcefully changed the name of Tatmadaw (Arm Forces) to notorious and witty THATMANAW( will kill you). Burma Army used to have a very good reputation and track records. Burma Army fought against Fascist Japanese Army, British coloniel rulers, Burmese and Chinese communist Armies invading into our beloved land, thousands of brave soldiers paid their lives to defend the nation. Burmese are known as Warriors and even the country used to boast as “Land of endless Legions”. That kind of country was shamed and terrorized by Than Shwe’s Brutal Army and it’s members. Their hands are stained with harmless monks and innocent people’s blood.
Most of the Generals, Officers and other ranks are trained to be a GOOD SOLDIER who must defend the Nation, not to destroy the Nation, who must defend and protect the lives and well being of the Nationals, not to shoot and kill your own people. I will remind you again for the four lines of oath each and every soldiers swearing -in daily,
WE WILL BE FAITHFUL TO OUR NATION AND NATIONALS.
WE WILL BE FAITHFUL TO OUR FALLEN COMRADES.
WE WILL OBEY THE ORDER AND CARRY OUT DUTIES GIVEN BY THE COUNTRY.
FOR MY NATION,FOR MY NATIONALS,FOR MY ARM FORCES(TATMADAW), I SWEAR TO SACRIFICE (FORFEIT) MY LIFE.
Now a days Tatmadaw betrayed their own nation and nationals.
Tatmadaw betrayed their fallen comrades who gave-up their lives to defend the country.
They obeyed unfair and out of sense orders given by their superiors and carried out bloody crack downs on their own nationals.
Tamadaw destroyed their nation, they killed their own people, they defamed the once very respective and beloved TATMADAW founded by General Aung San who is not even worth to compare none of you ruling Cheap Generals.
Sooner or later the oaths you have sworn-in will cause you as bad spell or curse. The oaths are not jokes, you have to keep it and they are not meant to break at any cost at all.
You soldiers must remember what you say before each and every meal.
“WE WILL BE FAITHFUL TO OUR NATION FOR EATING THE FOOD FED (PROVIDED) BY THE NATION”
Now each and every single rice grains provided by the nation and nationals will turn in to POISON.
Mind you! your ugly ending day is not far from now.
