What do you believe: is a solo tourist going to Burma (I’ve been to other SE countries recently) “good” for the Burmese because of possible contact with the “outside” or is it more helpful to the despotic Generals because of the dollars we bring into the country? slideindeep@aol.com

Yes! Let us embrace and salute these truly courageous young bloggers – we are really more informed about what is really going on inside Burma because of their perseverance and hard work. Young people of Burma represent our present and future, and they should be encouraged and praised, not criticised or ignored, especially because they are doing wonderful brave and helpful work for us all, despite being in such risky and dangerous situations, and without any reward. Thanks so much for drawing our attention to them.
