22.09.2007, Rangoon, reported by NLD LA: About 2000 Buddhist Monks, who are making daily peaceful marches in Burma’s largest city Rangoon in protest of military regime’s cruel crush down on young monks in Pakokku who request authorities to make better efforts to relieve worsening poverty in the country, today gathered in front of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi house where she is undergoing her house arrest.

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi got a chance to get out of the clutch of her jailers and came out of the house and greeted the Monks. She wore a yellow blouse and talked to the monks for about fifteen minutes.

Eye-witnesses said that hundred of people also gathered in support of the Monks.
