On 07.09.2007, The Burmese Democratic Movement Association U.K, organised a demonstration at the Chinese Embassy , London. About 60 participants from the Burmese Democratic Community, including the National League for Democracy (Liberated Area, UK), ethnic organisations, The Burma Campaign, UK , Friends Of Burma attended.

Statements were read out concerning the current political hardship, demonstrations, the regime’s brutal handlings on the peaceful demonstrators; slogans attributing the Chinese Government’s support causing Burma’s suffering, abusing veto power, asking to take action on Burma, to stop supporting Burmese regime, to let UN do it’s job.

And an open letter from National League for Democracy (Liberated Area, UK) sent to the Chinese President requesting to empathise Burmese people, to urge military regime for a genuine democratic reform, to release all political prisoners & to stop blocking Burma’s case on UNSC  formal agenda.
