Dated September 7 2007

Present developments in Burma/Myanmar, especially ongoing demonstrations against inflation and higher commodities prices are leading to wards another bloody people uprising as in 1988.

We, the Democratic National Affairs Activists do not welcome such an event and would like to try our best to prevent it from happening.

In view of the facts which are the causes for such an out break of people’s anger we are asking the ruling military government in Burma/Myanmar to immediately take the following steps.

1. To stop employing thugs, goons and ex-convicts for the purpose of breaking up Peaceful demonstrations through out the country.

2. To take emergency measures to stop inflation and rising food prices.

3. To call in (a) top economic experts

(b) Well-respected and nationally recognized state-men of the country

(c) Liberal intelligentsias

and form a National Advisory Board on resolving Burma’s crisis.

We ask the ruling SPDC, State Peace and Development Council to take immediate actions on our proposal and we offer our full unselfish cooperation in implementing above three actions.
