Serious Rice Shortage In Burma

It is estimated that at least more than 400,000 people in Rangoon are facing serious shortage of rice, the staple food in Burma. The situations outside of the capital Rangoon are believed to be far worse.

A national politician, Amyotheryei U Win Naing, and his followewrs distributed bags of rice to poorest families in Rangoon this week.
