On 08.08.2007, the 19th Anniversary of 8888 People Power Uprising in Burma, Burmese democracy loving expatriates commemorated the Anniversary in Nagoya, Japan.

They distributed pamphlets to interested Japanese People Nagoya to increase awareness by Japanese people about the human rights abuses in Burma. They also collected signature for a petition for freedom Daw Suu and all political prisoners in Burma.
