The Burma Campaign UK, in association with the producer Louise Chantal, is staging a play about Burma’s pro-democracy leader and Nobel Peace laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at the Edinburgh Festival. It was called The Lady of Burma, and written and directed by Richard Shannon. The actress Liana Mau Tan Gould performs the role of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi in the play.
