I feel so sorry about this little one who lost his life because of limited resources and that nothing can be done about it but to watch his dying process. It’s hard to imagine that this is happening in millions of people in the third world countries.
try to go to google language http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en maybe this would be of beneficial to you.

    Dear Lisa,
I read this June 2006 posting on Internet by a volunteer. In the article she wrote: “Specifically, the Burmese doctor in charge of the nursing training program was away in the camps indefinitely, leaving forty or so nursing students without a teacher or even a curriculum.”

Did Dr. Cynthia Maung leave Mae Tao Clinic indefinitely? Who is in charge of the clinic now?
I will visit the clinic on 3/9 or 3/10.
    Best regards,
    Roland

    Dear Roland,
No, Dr Cynthia has never done this. I think the student must be referring to another of the Burmese doctors who worked here.
    With Thanks
    Lisa

    My apology to the writer.
I missed read the contents, which said:
“the Burmese doctor in charge of the nursing training program —–”.
Not “The doctor in charge of Mae Tao Clinic”
I thought Dr. Cynthia also in charge of the nursing training program.
