Dear comrade readers,

This 8th of March is the International Women’s Day, a day to mark the courage of freedom fighting women. The courage of Burma’s women are internationally well recognized. Brave ladies of Burma, such as Aunty Suu, Dr. Cynthia Maung, Ma Su Su Nwe, Nan Cham Tong have become icons of democracy and human rights struggles around the world.

So to call for the release of Aunty Suu & Ma Su Su Nwe from Burma’s notorious jails/detentions, please write to the foreign secretary/minister of the country where you reside now, requesting the foreign secretaries to ask Burmese junta to release our Aunty Suu & Ma Su. You can also send Aunty Suu postcards to your foreign secretaries to remind them about the continued detention of the two ladies.

[Burma Digest is carrying out this postcard campaign in solidarity with Women Of Burma (UK)]
